NEW YORK, APRIL 1st, 2016
Teriha Yaegashi and Juliette Premmereur are pleased to announce the launch of The New Art Advisors Alliance. The NAAA brings together independent art advisors who share the highest professional standards and a passion for offering visionary art advisory services to their clients.
The Alliance is specifically devoted to multi-talented art advisors under 40, and intends to support young arts professionals committed to providing advisory and curatorial services in a rapidly evolving art market. The NAAA offers its members an exclusive network of industry resources, as well as an opportunity to join a select group of forward- thinking peers.
The point of The New Art Advisors Alliance is to share professional values. It is inclusive, but necessarily invite-only so as to maintain a professional rigor – only trusted art advisors are part of this group. Following in the footsteps of The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) founded in 2002, the NAAA seeks to build a community based on shared information, support, and collaboration.
The New Art Advisors Alliance is founded by Teriha Yaegashi, a longtime art advisor who worked as a collection manager for Takashi Murakami and art consultant to the Ace Hotel Group, and Juliette Premmereur, who has a long-standing career in the gallery world, having worked for Paul Kasmin and Sperone Westwater in sales and artist management. The two founders met while art history students at Columbia University, and recently curated “In Sequence” at the SPRING/BREAK ART SHOW.
The Alliance is currently based in New York City, but with plans to expand.
The first member’s launch event is scheduled for Monday, April 18th.
